"The cottage was really good and what can you say about it's location other than fantastic. Meal in Jolly Roger bar that evening, as good as you said. Went a second time and used the restaurant, best meals we have had in ages. Walked everywhere, even down to Southsea Castle and beyond. Did all the sights and generally had a great time.

It was indeed a home away from home with a heavenly and serene view. The whole arrangement by Harrington Homes was excellent and we received very much value for money. The kids kept busy playing the games and watching the classic collection of DVDs. The music system was completely unexpected and I was delighted to have brought my IPOD along. "Powder Keg Cottage proved ideal for what we required. The welcome was warm and very helpful, ensuring that we had everything that we needed on arrival. The view over the harbour is magnificent. The house is very well decorated and furnished. The up to date TV, sound equipment, SatNav and Broadband were nice extras." "We have just arrived back home and are already missing the views across the harbour. We never closed the curtains once during our stay for fear of missing something.
